Hey all, and welcome to This Kid, His World. I’m Matt and I’m the founder of TKHW. I’m a History and Political Science double major with a minor in French. Looking to put all of these together, I’m studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland for the fall semester of 2011!

I started TKHW in the last days of 2009 with the idea that each person has their own unique view on the goings-on of the world. I wanted a medium to share mine with the wider world, and TKHW was born. Since then I’ve covered everything from college life to local events to the armed forces of the United States, and lots more!

I've got opinions about topics that are way bigger than I am. These opinions were shaped by how I view the world, how the world views me, and how my world is interacted with. Sure, I may just be another white, Catholic, Irish/French-Canadian, kid, born and raised throughout New England, but if anything that is my reason for standing up and saying to the world, "Hey, I've got opinions, and I'm not afraid to stand up and tell you what they are."
